Granite is by far the most popular countertop material in the world. It is incredibly durable and there are thousands of different kinds. This means it will last for years, even in the toughest kitchens and no matter the style of your kitchen there is guaranteed to be a type of granite that matches.

“Quartz” is a man-made countertop that is manufactured by combining about 93% crushed natural quartz and 7%resin, which is a bonding agent. The result is a very strong, consistent, stone-like countertop. Because it is engineered there is no natural graining and the color is even throughout the slab.

Marble is incredibly beautiful and polishes much like granite but they are actually very different types of natural stone. Granite is a siliceous stone, which is composed of very hard and dense materials like silica and quartz, while Marble is a calcareous stone composed of softer calcium carbonate.
